Effective September 1, 2014 Leatherstocking Gas Company’s will reduce its rates by 8.11¢ per Ccf. The rate decrease is due to a reduction in the Gas Cost Rate GCR from 48.00¢ per Ccf to 39.89¢ per Ccf. The reduction in rates will effect all service classifications that purchase gas from Leatherstocking Gas. Periodically the GCR will be adjusted to reflect any over or under collection from previous months and estimated forward looking natural gas costs.
